Vann Pennington’s journey in construction began early, at just 14, he was already working on homes, learning the fundamentals of craftsmanship and attention to detail. At 19, he joined the United States Air Force, where he served as an F-16 aircraft mechanic. Even while in uniform, Vann kept his hands busy with part-time handyman and construction work whenever the opportunity arose.

After serving 20 years in the military, Vann set his sights on a new mission: helping homeowners live more comfortably. He began training in spray foam insulation – but it was a class on home air sealing that sparked a deeper interest. He realized that sealing hidden air leaks in attics and walls wasn’t just a construction technique – it was a powerful way to improve the everyday lives of families. The result? Fewer drafts, better air quality, lower utility bills, and homes that actually feel good to live in.

In 2024, Vann founded VP Energy Solutions with a single purpose: To help homeowners in Wichita Falls and surrounding communities create cleaner, more comfortable homes through expert insulation and air sealing.
